As we know ringing in a new year in the design world brings us an abundance of new color palettes. The 2021 Colors of the Year from Pantone, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, PPG and many other companies, did not disappoint. We have been given the opportunity to work with some enticing colors from Illuminating and Ultimate Gray to the deep, richness of Urbane Bronze. The possibilities are endless and for many the choices are overwhelming.
This year Sherwin Williams gave us even more options by creating their Living Well Collection. “The Living Well collection is an inspired mix of colors and paints carefully chosen to invite a sense of comfort, style and well-being into your home.” Within this collection there are ELEVEN different palettes to help inspire us.
We’re taking one of these palettes, Balance, and sharing a few design concepts with you using mostly natural materials.
We hope you enjoy our take on Balance.
“Find room to flourish with woodland-inspired shades that evoke the simple tranquility of a lush forest.”
These are all such great colors to add to your walls, we bet it’ll be difficult to pick just one!
Using a hardwood floor plank, whether warm or cool in color, will enhance the feeling of being in a lush forest. These options from Mohawk Group have a nice selection of colors to choose from.
Selecting a lighter or darker flooring like these natural stone Travertine tiles from Daltile, still allows for the woodland-inspired themes.
Adding natural elements with your lighting will also help bring the outdoors in. Lumens has a great selection of natural material lighting fixtures to choose from.
Use fabrics, like these from Mayer Fabrics to add the pops of color to make your space complete.
Want to add a dramatic accent wall? Stacked Wood Walls has you covered with a variety of woods to create that perfect touch.
