NeoCon and Design Days 2024 were last month and the Lehner Designs team attended these great events on Monday for their kickoffs. This was the first time we were able to experience both Design Days and NeoCon all in the same day. We saw some innovative products from both events, ate some fantastic food, and definitely hit our step counts for the day!  Here are a few highlights from our showroom visits.

Isabel's Favorites

Isabel’s favorite from NeoCon was also the winner of the Best of Competition! The YINKA ILORI X MOMENTUM Collection Color that Makes You Feel. This new collection was launched at the beginning of NeoCon and won best in competition. The collection is a collaboration with Yinka Ilori who is a British-Nigerian artist. The collection features bold patterns and vibrant colors that are most definitely beginning to trend.

Isabel’s favorite from Design Days was JSI’s new healthcare line called JSI Health. The pieces in the Satisse line incorporate magnetic latches for easy mobility and reassembly.

Andi's Favorites

Two of Andi’s favorites were found in the Interface Showroom. The new Interface collection Etched & Threaded is inspired by the natural patterning and flow of stones. The seven patterns and eight different colors provide lots of versatility.

FLOR had a lot of new introductions this year! One of Andi’s favorites was the California Dreaming Collection. This bold pattern came in six striking color waves, again showing the emerging trend of bold color in the design world. Here is California Dreaming in the Tawny colorwave.

Andi’s favorite product from Design Days was the WaveWorks casegoods line enhancements from Kimball International’s National line. A few of the new introductions include adjustable shelving and laminate wall panels. All of these new product introductions give added versatility when designing functional offices spaces.

Gerard's Favorites

Gerard’s favorites both came from Design Days this year! The first was the Autism Approved Kolo Booth from Kimball International. The pod is a Certified Autism Resource and blocks out most sound for a quiet environment. We even got to test it while visiting the Kimball Showroom.

His other favorite was a new up and coming technology that was showcased at JSI’s Showroom. Thumbprint Furniture is striving to be a cohesive database for all of your furniture needs whether it be space planning or rendering. Read more about Thumbprint here.

This year’s NeoCon and Design Days shows brought a wealth of great creativity, products, and innovation to the design industry. We hope you enjoyed reading about some of our highlights and we encourage you to check out all the great introductions from NeoCon and Design Days for yourself.
